Jeez, that last game took forever. They already way into the first half
.
Kansas 38, Purdue 36

Will it be a 3rd competitive game out of 3 tonight? Maybe not the best quality games, but entertaining and competitive.

Looks like KU is pulling away. Anything can happen in one game I suppose, but I'd be shocked if they lost to Oregon on Saturday in what is essentially a home game for them. Bill Self would have some splainin' to do.

You can pretty much give the trophy to KU. Don't see anybody beating them. Maybe UNC could hang but I don't KU is firing on all cylinders now.

Kansas is GOOD

Crazy good. I had no idea how much more talent they have than everyone else. Athleticism as well.

I watched Purdue take apart UVM and thought they were really good, but Kansas was next, next level beyond that.

Oregon will beat Kansas.
Bill Self is 2-6 in the Elite Eight.

I can't deny the record but I would be shocked if KU lost tomorrow in the Sprint Center with the way they have been playing. The pressure may get to them though I guess.

Six losses

2000 Tulsa lost to UNC
2001 Illinois lost to Arizona
2004 KU lost to Georgia Tech
2007 lost to UCLA
2011 lost to Virginia Commonwealth
2016 lost to Nova

The amazing thing is I'm pretty sure KU was the higher seed in all these losses.

Yeah that's right. Tulsa was higher than UNC.

The Tulsa game was a 7 vs. 8 seed.
Georgia Tech was a 3 vs. 4 seed.

He gags a lot. Only has overachieved in 2008 and 2012.

I think Oregon beats Kansas.

He's lost like all the toss up games except 2012.

I mean he's a good coach. But even Kansas fans think he tightens up on big games.
