From Lutheran HS on Long Island. Same HS Kian just transferred to.
She has kept her recruitment under wraps well. Not much info out there. South Carolina and UL definitely want her badly.
She is from Ukraine. Good article on her.

She is from New York and played with Shy Hawkins at Long Island Lutheran!!! Why not us???? Playing time??? If she stays out of foul trouble, heck, she could play close to 40 minutes for us!! we need a post player with her size and ability, match her with a stretch 4, like Mallory Miller, those would be some nice additions to our front court. There are a bunch of post players in the portal...if we come away empty handed, especially as it relates to two post players, then we will all know: Syracuse is broke!!!
No money for NIL, unless it appears out of no where.

She is originally from the Ukraine and I would guess the strong local community of Ukrainian folks would welcome her with open arms.

Sutomcat: Why would she not be interested in Syracuse? Playing time is wide open...like 30-35 minutes per game!!

I think the woman scene gets 500 K from SU. And then whatever NIL money they can raise themselves. They should be able to buy a couple players anyway.
Koval should not be a super high priced player. Members of the Syracuse Ukrainian community, if you want one of your own playing for Syracuse, now is the time to donate!
