They are shooting the three better in the tourney, something like at a .400 clip or so. But we didn't do too bad on the boards against them, with us being +2 in the first game but -6 in the last one (which was actually the closer game).

It's going to be tough, but we can beat them. Will we? We'll know Saturday night.

The tournament is a small sampling, but over the course of the year has been mediocre and they have no elite 3 point shooter like we've faced in last 3 games. I'll take my chances with that if we can prevent lots of 2nd chance points

I agree with this.

UNC has been shooting the ball pretty well lately but it's not like we haven't faced hot shooting and hot shooters in Gonzaga - Wiltjer and UVA - Perrantes.

We can't let them play volleyball on the backboard in this game. Although undersized, Lydon-Roberson-Coleman have battled pretty well lately along with our guards crashing the boards from the wings and up top.

The crazy thing is that we have 4 guys all capable of scoring 20+ in a game. So far in this tournament, I don't even know if we've played a game with 2 of those 4 clicking at the same time. We've gotten solid play out of Cooney but he has the ability to go off and maybe that's not his role right now so let's focus on G-Lydon-Mali. Give me a game where G and Mali are both clicking and we won't be beat. That hasn't happened yet this tourney. Will it?...

The only way we are even with them on the boards is if Roy Williams game plan sucks. We'll get more than ND did but NC is going to be playing with a lot of passion too.

The thing that scares me the most is they may have figured out that they need to let Paige have more control of the game. This guy went from Freshman newly minted superstar to the point he was almost "just another player" this year.

Having said all of that, I think we can keep taking it to them until they get to thinking they might lose the game.

We have to limit their offensive rebounds which is going to take a monumental effort by our whole team.

They like to play super fast so defending their transition game will be key as well.

Coach will earn his stripes in this game...I fully expect us to March On.
