The announcement says he will not become the President at the University of Michigan but will be a professor at their law school. He is in treatment in Ann Arbor.

so sad. hopefully its low grade and they can treat it to some level. my mom passed 29 years ago from brain cancer but she had the most aggressive form. best wishes and good luck chancellor.

So sad and shocked. I had 2 events with him next week when I am in Syracuse. I had a very nice personal relationship with the Chancelor and Dr. Chen. One of his sons lives in Ann Arbor, and they have a house there for years. He will be treated there. Honestly as people they are 2 of the nicest, sweetest people I know.

The last time I was up in Cuse was 2016. On the Sunday of the trip, my wife and I went to Catholic Mass at the Alibrandi Center. Kent was there attending the Mass. Humble and nice guy. God Bless.
