CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced its Football Players of the Week following standout performances in Week 8. Honorees were selected by a vote of a select media panel.

DEFENSIVE LINEMAN – Kevin Jobity Jr., Sr., DL, Syracuse (Buffalo, New York)

• Recorded a career-high three sacks in Saturday's game against Pitt.
• His three sacks combined for 15 yards of loss.
• Finished third on the team with six total tackles.

In addition to the sacks he had a pretty sweet ankle grab to prevent a chunk play. IMO that's a DB skillset in a big man. Awesome.

On one sack he blew thru 2 olinemen and both looked like they were on one foot each and he seemed to be the reason. He looked like he was on a mission. Well honestly the whole dline did.
