Kevin Reese > Stillman White

couldn't agree more - Kevin's .385 lifetime batting average with the Yankees is pretty impressive..

Wow. This means Kevin Reese>Ted Williams. Now thats impressive.

maybe, but we'll never know because Kevin hung up his spikes at an early age of 29 - probably had something to do with the fact nobody offered him a contract

The Stillman White situation is why we need a 4th guard for next year. I mentioned in another thread a fifth year transfer to come to play that role. A fair counterpoint was raised as to "Who would want that role"? Probably not anybody very good

Say a op backup guard on a smaller program ranked around 100, may be interested in that role, and could be at best "competent" and at a minimum better then White Its only a one year role. Just a guy that can play 10 minutes if we encounter foul trouble or an injury. Obviously if they have start in the tourney we are in trouble.

I think you'll get your wish in the form of the one and only Mookie Jones!

I'm not even sure Mookie Jones can even dribble or pass the ball anymore. I'm not sure if I have seen him dribble more then a few feet once the last two years... and of course that was merely to set up a chuck.
