What's interesting is that Pitt has a transfer from Vanderbilt, junior forward, Sheldon Jeter who left Stallings & Vanderbilt and now might get him back. Wonder if there will be additional movement with their incoming recruits and current roster? Funny I had just read a few days ago that Stallings was on the hot seat and might be fired from Vanderbilt. Could Pitt be saving Vanderbilt from paying a buyout if they fired him and make Stallings pay them or will they just say - let's call it even? Never even thought of Stallings and Pitt - has a decent record at Vanderbilt but not the big splash hire I heard they coveted.
By the way, Monmouth's King Rice coached under him for years. Since Stalling's almost 56 , maybe they'll keep an eye on King Rice if Stallings doesn't pan out.
