Kids Say The Darndest Orange Things

A couple weeks ago, my 8 yr old son was looking at the events calendar we have on our refrigerator to remind us of birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

Bobby: "Jen's birthday is on the 4th of July?"
Mom and I: "yes, you knew that."
Bobby: "I guess I didn't. Do you who she shares a birthday with?"
Mom and I: " uh, America?"
Bobby: "Floyd Little."

No lie. I didn't even know that. Proud Dad. His grandfather would have cackled pretty hard at that.

And then you have my 8 year old nephew that didn't know otto's name and called him a cheese puff. *facepalm*
