The worst decision made was taking Kiyan out of the starting lineup immediately when JJ returned. You either let Kiyan lose the job or make JJ earn it back.

When Kiyan is out there with George that is our most steady guard lineup. They just work well together. I still like JJ, he is super valuable to this team, but he is more effective as a player you turn when you need to provide a burst in athleticism and tempo. I really wonder if today was a turning point in how Red views how to play the guards down the stretch.

Kiyan lost his minutes a long time ago. I'm glad he finally had a good 2nd half last night.

A lot of people here have been wanting Kiyan not to play or at least play very minimal.

He's been very poor by almost every metric. I'm glad he had a good game last night, and hope he can keep it up. We don't have consistent enough outside shooting, and could use him if he can play passable defense.

Plus, Red hasn't used the bench as a motivator all year. He chooses yesterday and Kiyan Anthony, of all people, to make a point? Come on.

He has been the worst player in our rotation. Come on, yourself.

He's our worst 3 point shooter, our worst defender, and he barely rebounds for a guy who is 6-6.
He has more turnovers than assists, as a guard.

He does have nice form, but he's under 25% with more attempts than Donnie Freeman.

Scoring in the lane?
This is another one of his perceived strengths. He does have crafty moves in the lane, but this is where his lack of handle and lack of athleticism let him down. He seldom makes it all the way to the rim. He draws contract, does finish sometimes. But if he goes to the line, he's not very dependable. This is where most of his turnovers happen.

Let's not talk about rebounding, because he has played almost 20 minutes a game for 26 games, and he has a total of 39 (!) rebounds for the year.

Betsey has played fewer minutes and has almost twice as many, and there is maybe a 1" height difference between them.
