Remember when it was dangerous not to wear them...and possibly derail key plays with referee optionality?!

I don’t see ANY knee pads anymore

was a rule changed?

Right. Half the time these guys don’t even try to pull down over the knee, let alone have a pad in there.

yea that rule went away a few years ago.. only called 3 times in 20 yrs.. all on SU
