Kudos to SU ATH Dept

I'm outside of Albany area and we didn't get anything like that. We have multiple season tix holders here too. Granted this is a small school.

I am working on it! Haha what county are you guys in?

A few notes, for duke 30.00 seats for 18.00 for FSU 35.00 for 23.00 (cheapest available with discount) For a family of 4 nice savings

That was the goal. Show my appreciation to all our teachers (my sister teaches special ed in Solvay) and make it affordable to come out for a family

How about Columbia County. My wife teaches in a district there. Might be a way I can get her (and me) out for a game this fall.

I'll make sure I reach out. I'm going to reach out to pretty much every county in the state now because you guys are making it clear to me that people will travel 2-3-4 hours to come out for a game. Because honestly if you're 4 hours away - why not come out to the biggest game of the year (FSU) for the biggest discount I can offer you? Make it a weekend or day trip!

I swear I can never get anything by you guys. All my offers miraculously get out to the board haha. I love it!!

Brockport.

I reached out to Brockport CSD and their superintendent's office. They told me they would review it and send it out when they were able to do so. Shoot me an email OrangeNirvana -- drbartle @ syr dot edu

Should have a special section indicated by 10th Mountain Division flag reserved for Fort Drum soldiers. Give 'em free tickets. Have somebody call Recreational Services at Drum to see if they can arrange bus(es) to transport soldiers to and from the game. Should be doable.

We are working with them but I'd love that flag up on the walls in the Dome.

Hey, Dan, I had a thought. It's very easy to transfer tickets via your myCuse account to a friend. Would there be a way to set up a donate tickets option? Maybe work out a program where season ticket holders who have tickets going unused could give up their tickets to a local charity or service organization? I hardly ever miss a game but have a lot of empties around me for early season basketball and low profile football games. Make the program as easy as possible - one click donation - and fill those seats with Orange fans in the making seems like a win-win to me.

This sounds like a very good idea. I will run this by my Director!

Dan, in addition to that, (and pardon me if this exists) but a place to buy tickets for a given charity every week/month. Some link to the box office that allows you to simply donate at random. Perhaps, every week for football can be a different local children's charity or school? The giving and generosity of this board is amazing. Did you see the response to Sean Keeley's request for tickets to be bought for the kids of Houston, during last years bowl game... We can fill the dome will locals and develop new fans if the opportunity to simply donate tickets exist and relationships are made to get these students to the dome...

Yes, there are a number of fans who would like to buy extra tickets for under privileged kids, families in need, military personnel, etc.

If a mechanism could be set up to do this electronically, it would be a win-win-win for SU fans who want to give back, people who would like to go but don't have the money/means to do so and SU, who would like to have the stands as full of fans as possible.

Should that opportunity be created, I would think the mods of this board could tack it up and you'd certainly have contributors every week... Could be something that is applied to Football, Hoops, and Lax... Just like a "make a new fan," opportunity that all us obsessed cuse fanatics would love!

Absolutely. I'm also thinking of making a challenge to you guys on the board here. I want the Dome to have more season ticket holders and they are a tough demographic to find. I've gone the way of past STH, single game buyers, and so on. Groups are easier to find (bus companies, youth sports, teachers etc.) but STH are tough to identify. There could be someone out there who's on the fence about getting them and I want them to know I am here and I am available.

My challenge to all of you is that those of you who are season ticket holders who always say "The seats next to me are empty..." I want you guys to help me fill them up. Referrals are a huge part of what I do and I want you guys to be able to have a say in who sits next to you. In an essence - find me possible STH's and I will offer a reward of sorts. Do you think the board would go for this?

Guess I picked the wrong year to recruit 4 new season ticket holders. I assume you'll make the rewaard retroactive, right Dan! ;-)
