This team has become one of our more accomplished teams without depth and while hobbled at times. Expectations for the team were modest and they barely made it into the tournament. Even dedicated SU fans were conservative in their expectations. But the team has really come together this past week and won some tough games. JB used to be criticized for losing in the tournament with very talented teams but has recently thrived in the tournament with less talented or deep teams. No matter how the season finishes now, reaching the sweet 16 with regularity is one sign of a strong program. This year's team has reached that plateau and checked an important box. Kudos to the players and coaches alike. Well done...
