#1 pick!
He looks pretty naturally gifted to me.McCord may not be the most naturally gifted physically of the QBs, but is the least risky option out there. He’s just a solid qb and is tactically elite.
Naturally gifted runner and the deep deep ball. That is literally the only flaws I can think of.He looks pretty naturally gifted to me.
You know, I keep hearing on here that he can't throw deep... BS!Naturally gifted runner and the deep deep ball. That is literally the only flaws I can think of.
Deep deep ball? What is this based on?Naturally gifted runner and the deep deep ball. That is literally the only flaws I can think of.
He wasn’t reaching the 35 yard line on the go route. Not a huge deal he was still hitting the receivers!Deep deep ball? What is this based on?
Exactly how I feel!McCord looked very good. Throws an accurate and catchable ball. Best in his group. The Louisville kid was good on deep balls. Of the 2 groups, Howard and Milroe were ass. Pissed me off we had to watch some of his throws on a split screen cause they had to interview sanders and ward.
It’s the weakest part of his throwing skill set. It’s obvious and there’s nothing wrong with acknowledging that. You know, I keep hearing on here that he can't throw deep... BS!
Not buying it. He can stretch the field when needed and accurately. We've seen it, and I just posted it.It’s the weakest part of his throwing skill set. It’s obvious and there’s nothing wrong with acknowledging that.
If that’s his weakest throw no pun intended. That’s really not bad at all. Efficiency in the other throws is probably more important. You throw a go route maybe 1 or 2 times a game. And he can throw it accurately just not as deep as some other NFL QBs and prospects. It’s the weakest part of his throwing skill set. It’s obvious and there’s nothing wrong with acknowledging that.
People who watch the combine are not randoms, they are football junkies. Sickos if you will. You guys have to get over the “McCord isn’t being talked about” thing.
The TV version is all about ratings, and the guys that are most well known are the dudes who went to big schools. Randoms watching know about Riley Leonard and Will Howard and Jalen Milroe. That’s why they get focused on and air time.
The 47 dudes from Syracuse watching are not driving ratings. The only thing that actually matters is the NFL scouts are there watching and it would be nearly impossible not to see how Kyle crushed it and he will keep climbing up boards.
Jake, where I live outside Pittsburgh, the NFL Network is still replaying the first group of QB's and WR's. I don't know whether this is purposeful to extend their broadcast tonight or not. Cuse Legacy is the only reason I have to say I saw Kyle throw tonight on her X posts. Very poor IMO. Just needed to vent -but how many times do we need to watch and re-watch the same thing and how did Legacy get what she did?Yes he and Milroe and others in a 2nd group
It was obvious. He was better than most of his group in everything else. He was also obviously last in pure arm strength. Not buying it. He can stretch the field when needed and accurately. We've seen it, and I just posted it.
It's a group think statement that people keep parroting.
I am willing to bet millions of people are going to be tuned in for the combine. They are not all full on draft sickos any more. Trust me as one of those guys who loves the draft, I love the combine. But this is very rarely about the true prospects those guys wanna focus on. It’s about catering to the masses. Which is why it’s way more about QBs as well compared to the WR who are definitely way outnumbering QBs.People who watch the combine are not randoms, they are football junkies. Sickos if you will.
You’re talking exhibition and a few throws, he was pretty good during the season. Besides not many QBs consistently hit on the deep deep throws. He wasn’t reaching the 35 yard line on the go route. Not a huge deal he was still hitting the receivers!
Exactly how I feel!
Arm strength and accuracy on deep throws are not the same thing. It was obvious. He was better than most of his group in everything else. He was also obviously last in pure arm strength.
Thought same. He’s very reliable and the catchable part is key. You could see with other QBs the difference. His footwork looked really good too.McCord looked very good. Throws an accurate and catchable ball. Best in his group. The Louisville kid was good on deep balls. Of the 2 groups, Howard and Milroe were ass. Pissed me off we had to watch some of his throws on a split screen cause they had to interview sanders and ward.
