Quick should have hurdled him for it. Would have dropped most of our future appearances on Gameday this season.

Yeah, it was bad. But I think the kid made a snap decision to try and stride for the 1st down towards the sideline and it was just not possible. Poor distance perception.

If you think about the situation LVille is in at that point, what he did is understandable. Wrong choice, but I get it. He's thinking about a first down AND stopping the clock because there is only :33 on the board. So he chooses to go left and try to reach for it. What he forgot is by turning inside and for sure getting the first, the clock will stop anyway. Plus, Ville still had a TO. Simple mistake in a heated, pressure packed, fast paced game. Players make the plays, he chose the wrong one (going sideline). Still, that was one heck of an ending.

In 2000 We had Troy Nunes, who was a very bad magician, (he made a 14-0 lead disappear). In 2001 R.J. Anderson, (didn't do much but didn't make mistakes that year), and we won 22-14 instead losing by that score, with a big assit by Jamel Riddle.
