I don't think this is that unexpected considering that the coach who recruited him is no longer at the school.

I have several VT friends. This was not unexpected to them. Nolley's dad made it known awhile back that they weren't crazy about VT.

I do wonder, though, how much Nolley’s lack of playing time factored into his decision? In Va Tech’s last 6 games he only cracked 30 minutes once (and foul trouble doesn’t appear to have been a factor).
