July 30 2015 "Rising Indiana defensive back transfers to Delaware State. Wants to play running back. Wow what a move. The kid is really dead set on being a running back. Where would he be now if he was at SU?

HE made a mistake not coming here IMO, oh well. He has to live with his decisions.

He would have redshirted and been in the mix at H back last season.

Interesting to see that the kids we lost to decommit or didn't land as a result of Marrone leaving havent really stuck. Gus Edwards is the only one that looks like he'll be a factor at a P5 school at this point.

I think Gus will have a break out year. He will get more carries now that the Duke is gone. Too bad for Laray. I remember this kid inboxing me when he was a soph. He thought I was a Syracuse coach. Wanted to go to Cuse bad. I guess Marrone and Anselmo leaving played a big part. Hope he has success at Delaware St.

I always felt that Gus' choice was about needing a fresh start and getting away from NY and people he knew more than Marrone leaving. I'm happy that things have worked out for him.

Hard to know if he'd be competing with Erv Phillips and Brisley Estime. Never a bad thing to have speed though''

Its been said previously, but those kids that we feel are "have to get guys" at who are doing big things at other schools is pretty small

Harold Brantley - DT, Missouri
Akeel Lynch- RB, PSU
Jason Cabinda - LB PSU
__________________________________________________
Kolin Hill - DE, ND - transferred (not sure we had a shot)
Ishaq Williams - DE/LB- ND(future unclear)
Ebenezer Okundeko - LB- Clemson
Laray Smith - RB
Zach Allen - WR, TCU

The sad thing is i feel those kids could all be contributors and have potential tl grow into something special.

Thought the kid had some eye popping moves and speed on his tape but it sounded like he was a track guy who played football.

Kolin Hill was never contacted by SU. He would've listened if SU called...IMHO. If SU offered both brothers it might have made a difference. FWIW Good chance he ends up at Texas Tech.

Add another one

Daiquan Kelly -freshman olb/ S who flipped from SU to penn state was dismissed from psu

I was with HCSS at a camp 1/2 hour after Daiquan committed. They were fired up, had been recruiting him a long time. They were on a huge roll and I think he was commit like 18 or 19 in July. Kelly was with his whole family that day. All of our FR LB's were there too.

It's too bad, he was very coveted here.

How do you screw up so badly to kicked out of camp your first few days?

Easy, you get recruited over and they need your space so he packs your bags for you. Both PSU and Franklin have left a trail of graves and horrors in their wake with no remorse. This kid doesn't matter.

I agree. He had a good camp last summer, and with Duke gone, he will be in line for some good work. Losing him sucked.
