And that is a separate source of income from the prize pools offered at major tournaments. The most recent Dota 2 international championship saw a total prize pool of $24.6 million with the winning team claiming a championship purse of $10.8 million. So yeah, scream at your kids when you see them playing video games. Totally worthless and morally bankrupt endeavor.
