Last day wearing a green uniform

Congrats man glad to hear things have gone well. Are you staying in Alaska or coming back to CNY?

We are going to stay up here in Alaska for a while.. I have some pretty good job options up here. Either working back for the government, or up at fort Knox gold mine. Nothing till October, September is my month.. 2 week moose hunting trip with my old man, some camping, and a little sleeping in. We will be home November 8th for a few weeks, we might have to make some plans..

Thanks everyone for the good words. It's a weird feeling, I'm not as excited as I thought I'd be lol

Thanks for your service CuseTroop. And good luck on the no-shaving pledge. If my wife would let me get away with it I'd love to take an extended sabattical from the razor.

Congrats and many thanks for your service! Best of luck. If we meet, beers on me.

6 Years, 3 duty stations, 2 overseas tours, 1 combat tour, 3 months on the Honor Guard doing military funerals for Vets. Been to Korea, Kuwait, Iraq, Germany (just for a few hours) and finally Alaska. Its been one hell of a ride, and I'm going to miss it. Time for a change. I'm never shaving again.

SGT Chisom out

Can't even imagine how you must be feeling. Thank you for your service and you have some cold beers waiting for you in the Fine Lot.

Where will you be staying...in the Anchorage area? I absolutely love Alaska.

Congratulations on the end of your career. Best of luck in your future and thank for the sacrifices you and your family made.

Go Orange!

Sgt Chisom,
Thank you for your service. I spent 22 years in the AF and have been retired since Feb 2009. Life is great on the other side. The best part is that I still get to work around those warriors like yourself. I am working at US Special Operations Command at MacDill. One major word of advice as you retire; make sure you do your do diligence in getting your VA disability if applicable. Once again, thank you for your service and good luck in the future.

Thank you for your service, best of luck in the next chapter - does this mean your civilian job will prohibit you from posting all day?!
