I gave away my tickets for the NC and Florida State games. Even though it has been difficult this fall I think a good foundation has been laid. So, all you Orange faithful, enjoy the last couple of home games. Oh, it's not that I won't be paying attention to the games, but from afar. My wife is retiring next Friday and since we didn't do anything when I retired two years ago, we are leaving three days after her last day for a month in Europe to travel around. I am hoping that in my absence, this team, our team, runs the table. Go Orange.

congrats to u and your spouse. my wife and i just spent 19 days in europe. did the d-day beaches and a lot of other stuff in france and germany. hope u are visiting prague . it was fantastic!!!!

So since you won't be there, YOU BETTER NOT COMMENT OR MAKE ANY OBSERVATIONS ABOUT THE ATTENDANCE! No, "not even 40k for FSU?" comments. No "crowd looks small" comments. No "I wish our crowds were bigger" comments. No "are students really leaving at halftime, after showing up halfway through the first quarter" comments. If you're not there, you can't say anything!

This is one thing I have learned this year.

Yes, we are spending one week in Prague. Warsaw, Krakow, Germany, Austria, Slovenia and we are doing a three day stay on the Baltic Sea at some port town I don't remember. I know there are a couple other places. This will be the fourth or fifth time my wife has been to Prague. Of all the places in Europe she likes it is the Czech Republican and Poland. I have no idea as I have only been to Italy.

I've been to Prague, Austria, & Germany in the last 6 months. Hit me up with any questions.

Enjoy the beer in Prague!

Beer in Prague is awesome and under 2 bucks. Can't beat it! The absinthe is a death trap

I've been all over Europe, those are fantastic places to visit. Cost of traveling is so much lower than visiting some of the more popular countries. If you get a chance to go to Budapest, that's a fantastic place too and is really inexpensive to visit.

Good for you , I'm jealous. I will never get to those countries. Please post your trip experiences when you come back.

I wish I could go to Europe instead of watching some of these games, enjoy my friend, bring back some stories for us.

I hope you are kidding. I have lived SU football since I was eleven. I will be 65 in four months, so yes, I may have had a few opinions over the years. I have seen the good and the bad. Just saying.

Slovenia is great also. Some quaint little towns where there are still plaques up to Tito. I still remember one time driving over for dinner from Italy to a small restaurant on the water. There were huge yachts berthed there, mostly of German ownership . And while eating dinner, it was during the war, we watched the US jets flying over from Aviano. Little surreal.

I am 100% kidding. Every time someone posts about the attendance this year there's a large amount of posters who take the "well you're not there so be quiet!" stance. I don't get it.

Im hoping you were a bad luck jinx for us, and your absence will turn rings around.

First trip to Prague was 1990 soon after the "Velvet Revolution." Great city untouched by German bombings of WWII. Second trip was 1995 and included Plzen, Bratislava and Vienna. Prague is the best!! Have a great trip. We all hope you miss some W's.
