IIRC, Gillon made mention of that in his post-game interview. Paraphrasing: this is why I came to SU, used to imagine that I'd be playing against a blue chip team like Duke, hitting the game winning shot, etc.

It certainly would be sweet if those prep 'blue chippers' shared that sentiment as well, especially coming off a great run last year in the tourney and FF appearance.

I was thinking the same thing. Their careers at SU couldn't have worked out any better. Sort of like the ending to Etta-Tawo's collegiate football career.
