1/5/22 at Miami: we had an 18-point first-half lead, and lost 88-87.
3/5/22 at home: we had an 18-point second-half lead, and an 8-point lead with 1:44 left, and lost 75-72.
1/16/23 at Miami: we had an 11-point second-half lead, and lost 82-78.

This is a huge game on Saturday to really start to get our resume moving in the right direction. No more drama like in the last three games.

Remember when Miami first joined the Big East and everyone else got to chalk them up to two easy W's? Those were the days.
If there was a sexier time in college basketball history, I would love to hear it.

Moral of the story - don't get a big lead on these fellas.

The 2 games in 22 Cuse did not have a lead guard. I sat courtside and watched Cuse struggle to inbound the ball 3 or 4 times inside the last minute and turn it over. Walked out of the Dome that day in shock that a program I started watching with Pearl and then Sherm couldn't inbound a friggin basketball. Didn't renew my tickets but thinking I may get seasons again next year now that the product is on a slight uptick.

Feels like a decent matchup because they also only have two bigger guys. Obviously Omier is top quality but still. A lot different from playing against Bacot and Ingram at the same time.

Was playing in a TS poker tournament that day and once I saw that 8 pt lead I stopped paying attention until the rest of the room started howling. That loss was the final nail in the no losing seasons since 1968-69 streak.

Yeah, I have been disappointed by losing so many times to Miami when I didn't think it would even be a competitive game. Give Larranaga some credit.
