USA's figures are for 5 years 2006-2011 while, as you point out, SB nation is for 2011 only. I really do not think that anybody in the ACC, other than MD and Wake is losing money on football.
UVA breaks even in football and will benefit from the new ACC revenues. As far as NC and NCS are concerned, they are both very profitable and getting more so. The question appears to be whether or not the level of profits in the ACC is enough for Clemson, GT, VT and FSU and is the Big 12 a good option. Nobody seems to care about Clemson, VT has a small market, GT will never be allowed in the SEC so I guess that leaves FSU. Will the ACC really fold if we lose FSU?
