Latest Lunardi, SU a noine seed

Final four matchup MIGHT be tough.

It's hardly even worth debating I feel like, but Gonzaga is also a 9. They have one top 50 win, UConn on a neutral site (sound familiar?) and one other top 100 win, Washington on a neutral site. (Same weekend) Granted, no losses outside the top 100. We have 5 top 50 wins (and at least 2, if not 3, better t han Gonzaga's best win, plus we have their exact win) and 2 additional top 100 wins. Does the St. Johns loss really carry that much weight?

UNC to me seems likely the 1 or 2 seed to be upset opening weekend. Any team they play with decent guards will hurt them.

When I look at that bracket the committee would likely flip Syracuse and Gonzaga. Instead of sending Gonzaga 3000 miles they could sent them 1500 and Syracuse would save travel as well.

I am glad the guy finally has above a double digit seed. Watching So. Carolina play they struggle to shoot but play really tough defense. I wouldn't mind that matchup in an 8-9 game.

Didn't we see Gonzaga in Buffalo twice? I'm not sure the NCAA really cares.

Somewhat off topic, but how good is Dayton this year? Saw they're ranked 15th at the moment. Haven't paid much attention to mid-majors this year.

21-4 they lost to St. Joe's 79-70 last night.

They're good but hard to tell how good - early season neutral-court win over Iowa is their one big win, other than that mostly have done a good job (mostly) of not losing

2009 we played Arizona State in Miami
2010 we played Gonzaga in Buffalo
2011 we played Marquette in Cleveland
2012 we played Kansas State in Pittsburgh
2013 we played California in San Jose
2014 we played Dayton in Buffalo

Whenever the NCAA can keep teams closer to home they will. If Syracuse fit in Brooklyn and Gonzaga fit in OKC the committee would do stuff like that.

I think if we bracketed with Villanova/Maryland/West Virginia we could be sent to Brooklyn or Providence.

Please be sent to Denver. I bought 6 seats for every game, Thursday and Saturday.

Yesh. Toight. Toight like a toiger. I can shee that from your toight pantsh. :)

If by 99% you mean like 45%, I agree with you.

We shall see. I don't think we will get much love nationally. That's okay, the sweeter it will be!
