This was a good week to include the D3 Mustang Classic at Stevenson.

yesterday was off the hook and today should be just as entertaining.

Yago is a dawg, but the rest of this Notre Dame O is looking a little weak. ND has a couple nice wins but is not looking too strong right now against a struggling Michigan team. Defense is still strong, but we can hopefully challenge their short sticks a lot like last year.

Michigan played zone and ND couldn't score for huge periods. Looked like us vs AF late 2nd qtr. ND D played very well, they should have covered the spread easy onky giving up 4 goals. Can't believe they didn't.

Daaaamn Schaller might be hurt for MD. What a disaster of a start to the year for them. Could still win this one but man.

MD can't create O against a both bad and injured short stick group for UVA. Just insane when you see what teams have put up big goals against this defense. No matter what happens with Schaller they are in major trouble with their offense.

No Spanos again is killing them. Struggling to beat 1 on 1 matchups. Tillman not using a TO in any of these OT possessions is beyond bizarre

Thank goodness they won at least. How bad/bizzarre would it be if the MD win started dragging down our RPI??

Agreed. Obviously the UVA game is no gimmie but with the Maryland win already in our pocket we wanted them to win here 100%

Cornell won easily but the big deal was Cascadan did not play. Huge issue last week at PSU going 5 for 20 . Maybe he was hurt . backup did well and they need it with Princeton on deck next week

Oof. It's a beautiful day here too.
They listed attendance is 4393. It's a big stadium.
With UMd being 2-3 and UVa being 3-3 (and having just lost to Towson), I really wouldn't have expected a big crowd.
Beautiful day but a lot of other things to do in the area too.

Nice seeing Thomas Gravino get his first goal.

Mark Dixon is quickly become a very dislikable commentator. On one play late Millon was being guarded by Peter Laake and Dixon goes “once again we have players with history, Millon hit Laake in the chest with that shot that stopped his heart”. It is absolutely insane to call that history between two players! That was a horrible freak accident and it’s not like a dirty hit where Millon did something he shouldn’t have. Wild to bring that up at all in the first place! Some of these guys are getting old and crazy

Virginia had 3 chances to win in OT, just some real bad O possessions
:(

I don't know which is worse, losing like that or losing the FO to start OT and then they score after the TO, like Princeton did to us TWICE in the Finals.

Fans are opposite side of the camera.

Why I dont know.
It's the way they've always done crowd management. Only have to have half of the security, half the number of refreshment stands open, and half the clean-up. The side where they have people sitting is closest to the parking lots.

Honestly id rather lose right away sucks for sure but having multiple possessions and not scoring is fn torture. We know your pain until the Penn win Gait was like 0-4 or 5 in OT games.
