Not sure but this puts things in a different context. Clearly, hoping to use as remaining eligibility to latch on and potentially further is academics. Best of luck to him with that pursuit.

It’s the name brand that carries weight more so than anything to the normal person. Not many employers sitting at the computer reviewing resumes saying “man I don’t know about this guy, SUs education ranking dropped in the recent past, so this guy must stink” lol

But I do understand it is important to be as high as possible, that’s always a good thing.
