Dungey only gets talked about if he puts up gaudy stats and the team is above .500. He doesn't get serious consideration unless we're at least an 8 win team and he's averaging 350/75 with 3 passing TD and 1 Rushing TD a game.

Looking at last 5 Heisman QBs

Mariota- 4500 yards. 42 TD, 4 INT, 770 on the ground, 15 TD
Jameis - 4000 yards, 40 TD, 10 INT, negligible rushing, but had a title appearance as a RS Fr.
Manziel - 3700 yards, 37 TD, 13 INT, 1400 on the ground, 21 TD
RGIII - 4300 yards, 37 TD, 6 INT, 700 on the ground, 10 TD
Cam - 2800 yards, 30 TD, 7 INT, 1500 on the ground, 20 TD. Got a boost from title appearance and being a human highlight reel.

So yeah, Dungey nees to pace for at least 4000 yards, a 4 to 1 TD/INT ration, and a 500+ yard rushing season with a TD a game to merit being talked about. And that's without being a 10 win team, unless Syracuse decides to shock the world next season.
