Len Bias 30 for 30

I'm watching ESPN's 30 for 30 on Len Bias. First time I've ever seen it [and as a Celtics fan, this hit close to home].

Powerful.

I know this is an older one, but ESPN knocked it out of the park again.

Yeah, I watched this one a year or two ago, very well done. I can only imagine how excellent those Celtic teams would have been if he didn't pass. They were awesome already, with him, pffft...

I understand I'm nitpicking and digressing a bit from the main point (the doc was fantastic), but I'm always surprised people see him as such a sure thing in retrospect. Even if he didn't pass, he very well could have been sucked into the drug culture of the time and horribly underperformed like so many others. If nobody had genetic or social pulls towards drugs, the whole dynamic of the 80s nba would have been incredibly different...but obviously that's not a switch we can turn off.
