They have a logjam at rb but Lequint should be safe. IMO they need to trade one of the top 2 and expect it to be Etienne.

A few articles have mentioned that he is safe and that there will likely be movement of one of the other backs, likely Etienne.

They also said as of now he is firmly fourth on the depth chart and after movement would still be third.

But we know how injury happens and who knows if the path opens for him.

Sucks he and Sean are stuck in log jams on their teams.

Question has to be asked. If everyone knew we would have 4 draft picks, including record setting QB, RB, TE/WR, DE, and another WR looking like he could make a team, plus Marlowe and Barron….did we underachieve with a schedule against 2 ranked team. Losses to Stanford, BC, Pitt.

What’s the chances of having upperclassman leaders who got drafted like that? I’m still trying to figure out how our losses were to Stanford, BC, and Pitt. The latter owns us for some reason. The other 2 were ultimate head scratchers looking back.
Especially Stanford at home.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Jaguars traded RB Tank Bigsby to the Eagles for 2026 fifth and sixth-round picks.
Jaguars head coach Liam Coen was quoted saying that it would be “difficult” to carry four running backs on the active game day roster on 21 August, prompting rumors of a trade at the position at some point in 2025. The team made good on those rumors by moving Bigsby to the Eagles, where he is likely to battle Will Shipley for the change of pace role behind Saquon Barkley. Eagles general manager Howie Roseman continues to leverage late picks to bolster his team as they look to repeat as Super Bowl champions. The move paves the way for Bhayshul Tuten to step into the primary change of pace role in Jacksonville, while Etienne has a clear runway for primary duties the remainder of the season.
