Lester: Don't Expect Dungey AND Womack to remain at QB

I agreed with that take back in 2012. Would have liked to see what he could have done.
i dont think marrone thought broyld had the wherewithal to handle QB

Agreed--that was what I've heard. But he would have brought an intriguing element of running [and I think he would have improved as a passer]. He sure wasn't Nassib, but I think he might have proven to be better than Hunt.

broyld should be a quarterback in a k state/ohio state power spread offense. i don't care what anyone says, he would've been very good

I think another early worry with Broyld was he had fumble troubles. Not a good attribute for the guy who touches the ball each snap.

it would be nice if he says NOTHING !!!what are the kIDS GOING TO THINK OR RE-THINK THEIR CHOICE, and did we not learn anything from the previous oc shooting off his mouth???just shut up and field the team, win some games and then talk

Kids are going to think "if I want to a QB here I need to work my arse off" which is eerily similar to what every player thinks about their position and the depth chart.

I can tell you from first hand information from the highest source that DM initially thought Broyld was going to do very well at QB. He thought Broyld was "by far the best talent we have on offense." The plan going into that preseason was to "feature" him from the QB spot. There is another QB that DM did not feel would make it as a QB...

And eerily similar to what every coach at every school at every level tells every recruit.

we have not had a very good qb since mcnabb-period-- nassib was good but not the talent that could elevate the program---so tell me again what every coach says at every level and how it motivates them to be at su, and how we have excelled at that, and how successful we have been. nil---i really do not care for bravado from coaches who have no track record of success. thus i say again be quiet, win some games and keep your mouth shut, until you prove something. koolaid again---show me--don't tell me. lester maybe excellent ---lets see---

Both of them......thought it was either or. One of these two is the real thing...maybe both. Both on the field at the same time could be nice.

Every athletic QB that commits to a school that already has one QB in the class is already thinking it.

Every. Single. One.

But they still want to beat that guy out for the job.

he's not exactly an expert in wherewithal. hopefully broyld has the wherewithal to graduate less than 9 years

He had enough wherewithal to revive this program and give your POS franchise a winning season.

Have you ever done anything comparable?

To be fair, Belichick gave the Bills a winning season.

Heh I guess it's not our's anymore, just mine.

Good riddance to both of you
