Let’s laugh at Georgia Tech for a moment.

An amazing stat.

I would have thought a team that was a 3 seed (2004) would have been 3 games over at least once... hard to fathom.

Rutgers has probably been 3 games over .500 at some point since 1996... OK maybe.

FYI Rutgers.

Since 1991-92 season until before this year:

Days spent at 3 games over .500 conference play: 11,

Feb 13-16, 1999. Feb 17-21; 23-27, 2002.

Days spent at 4 games above ,500: 0. (That includes this year).

Season’s finishing above .500 in conference play: 0.

That’s 28 seasons, 7 coaches and 4 conferences.

2Pac was alive.
Magic Johnson was in the NBA.
Gas cost $1.23 per gallon on average.

Bon Jovi was rockin the "These Days" Tour. And, nearly two and a half decades later...still rockin and presently touring with Bryan Adams.

On an aside, the famed rocker making an impact at this site's 2nd favorite University. ;):)

That Georgia Tech team had Marbury, Brent Barry, and Matt Harping.

Wow, 1996. This was during that period when ESPN2 tried to be edgy with lowercase fonts on everything and a badass opening music theme.

The NWO ripped ESPN off
