Let me get this straight

Someone on here said if UConn loses we may have a better resume than them. Tomorrow is going to be crazy either way.
They would be the same story as SDSU -- is our resume better than theirs? Possibly -- Do we want another bubble team to muddy the waters? No way in H*ll -- UConnn wining helps our RPI, gives them the auto bid, and most likely takes an at-large team out of the picture.

We do, I am pulling for Uconn, but I'm not going to go nuts if they don't win.

The field is set. The #68 team would be bounced by Memphis. UConn winning tomorrow would usually help our RPI, but in this case, it won't.

Agreed. The committee is busy seeding teams right now. On the board in the committee's hotel room there's a "#68/Memphis" placeholder in one of the play-in games. Let's hope we're #67 or better.

Memphis can't play in Dayton if they win.

Im rooting for UConn tomorrow too, along with Texas A&M. How nice would it be to have road wins over 2 OOC tournament champions? Not sure how many of our bubble competitors would be able to say that.

The easy contingency is a Uconn win puts Temple in a play in. A Memphis win puts Uconn in the play in and Temple out. Palm has Temple as last four in ahead of us yet says Temple could lose it's spot if Memphis wins.

I doubt UConn could slip to a play in with a loss. I think they will be a 10 seed with a loss.

If this scenario would play out like that, it certainly would complicate who to root for tomorrow, if I understand you correctly. Where is Cuse in relation to these contingency plans or are they locked in or out regardless?

If Uconn loses to Memphis they deserve to be in the play in game, if in the tournament at all, their resume isn't all that great.
