Right now they have 3 top 10 teams … hard to argue they aren’t but here’s what I will say … FSU and UGA being excluded IMHO is good for us. 12 team playoff coming and depending on slot allocation and after watching UGA stay at 1 all season to be left out if the playoffs entirely should be a wake up call to FSU and Clemson. For example if each Conn gets two slots as auto bids for top two teams you’d be brain dead to leave the ACC when you’d likely finish behind UGA and Bama consistently.

I get the whole we hate the constant SEC success thing but based on playoff results since its inception can you argue it? This happening IMHO is good for the ACC long term not necessarily short term. Folks can hate the SEC for winning like people hate the Patriots or Yankees for winning religiously it’s cool. Doesn’t mean they don’t have the most talent in CFB. Like I said this happening could turn out to be a huge plus when it goes to a 12 team playoff.

I think the SEC is the best league in the sport. But not to the point that of the respect that it gets. But right now, my whole attention is on Robinson in another thread. FSU getting screwed in my view is minor to what we have going on right now. Back to the Robinosn thread for me.

Bama dominated the game statistically but some flukey things allowed Auburn to keep it close it’s no mystery. Much like our bowl game against Minny we dominated statistically but lost on the scoreboard but felt we were the better team.

Bama is the better team and got the W. In a rivalry game that’s all you need to do … rivalry games in the south are a religion down here … this isn’t like some bullshit bowl against Pitt in Yankee Stadium.

I have no idea you are asking a question I can’t answer but again you are trumpeting a top team in the ACC beating a barely middle of the pack SEC team. If it were Bama or UGA awesome but they beat a UF team that lost to Arkansas. I already know you’ll kick the Auburn can so let me address that by saying I am not citing that as a marquee win .. a win over #1 in a conf title game is.

This is the reality we point at beating Florida as this monumental thing because they are SEC … it was also our top team in conf beating a mid tier squad. Not a valid comparison. But hey the ACC has wins over LSU, Vandy and UF with our #2 seed losing to UK. Clemson and FSU are the only playoff caliber teams in our conference … Clemson being down killed FSU had they beaten a top 10 Clemson this discussion isn’t happening that would have been the win to put them over the top. They had a schedule comparable to what ours is next year that has folks believing we could win 8 with a new coach and lord knows what for a QB.

They out gained Auburn by 90 yards and Auburn had 3 turnovers. I don't think that's dominant, do you?
