Let's psycho-analyze JB's remarks today...

He seemed to be extremely tired (not telling) while emphasizing that he does not know anything, at this time. I know that I am nuts and consumed with this, so my judgement may be off, but the tone sounded a lot like he knew something he didn't the other day, and that something wasn't good. Any thoughts?

Read it the same way...but then again, I don't want to read too much into it. I think JB just realizes he needs to tone down his remarks.

^^^^This^^^^ is more likely. He said his piece. Now is the time to pull back and letcoaching play out. Besides, as he stated, there is nothing he can do anyway. His job is to coach basketball. The police will do their job and whatever happens, happens. If new info comes out, he will reevaluate his stance.

As long as he keeps publicly supporting Bernie, the outlook is good. If anyone catches a drift of a potential issue, JB may change his tone to a neutral position. That's when I'll worry...

Whatever happens, I am positive Boeheim never suspected for a second. And if it turns out to be true, I am one of those who feel that Coach will NOT be forced to resign because he vehemently defended his friend. We can all support Fine until we know otherwise, but Boeheim can have our support no matter what, because he never did anything wrong. The program bounced back after it was proven there were "irregularities" that Boeheim was actually responsible for, so why in the world would it be damaged by something he was not responsible for?

Call me a wild-eyed optimist...
