Honestly, I wanted to start this thread to get a rant off my chest. I am so sick and tired of hearing about how Shea Patterson will be the second coming at Michigan. I can see it now - 8-5 and a complete bust. Coach Khaki Pants is hoping a kid that threw for 9 interceptions and only 2200 yards in spread offense last year will all of sudden open the flood gates in a pro-style O, one that will rely on a solid run game? I just don't see it. He's my candidate for biggest bust of 2019.

So, any other candidates. Teams are allowed.

Petrino / Llvll.
Not so much I think they will, more like wish/hope they suck.

1 - A meh Llvll team benefits us directly.
2 - Petrino can’t possibly ever have enough bad things happen to him.
3 - see #2.
4 - sure hope his D players stay properly hydrated when they’re playing us this year.

CFN ranked the Big Ten coaches and had Harbaugh 6th behind Urban, Dantonio, Franklin, Chryst and Fitzgerald.

yup losing Moorhead AND Saquan Barkley.

I even hope Buttgers beats them.
Was going to say let's not get carried away on your last point, but after further thought count me in.

Kyle Bolin. Rutgers thinks he will be their savior, he was mediocre with superior supporting cast at UL. He's a classic drop back getting thrust into a spread system with only summer to adjust. The whole thing has disaster written all over it.

No you're right and I was kidding. This is one you hope they both lose.

I'll say ND. This is probably just because I can't stand them, more than anything else. They lost 2 top 10 guys on the O-line as well as a very good RB in Adams. I'm sure they have capable replacements, but I hope my prediction is right.

Houston, NC St, LSU and FSU

Funny you bring up Patterson bc i think harbaugh himself has been a big bust thus far. Cant find a qb, each year big prospects dont committ there even though he is known as a qb guru that should help a kid get to the pros.

James Franklin. Losing Moorhead is going to be devastating for him. So excited.

We can only hope but Franklin still has his stud qb and is loaded at most positions. Again, kids dont care about a programs history, whether it be good or bad and its so apparent at PSU.

I see why but not sure i would put him behind chryst and Fitzgerald.

Boston College and Wake Forest

Lots and lots of folks putting them ahead of us and both teams wish they had our QB situation

I agree but its hard to say BC will disappoint when they are basically picked to go 6-6, 7-5 every year. But i understand where you are coming from with their loftier expectations this year.

Willie Taggart and FSU.

He struggled at WKU and USF when he first showed up and was never that good. UCF and USF don't have to try to win in the AAC. 1 good year with the Ducks doesn't mean squat.

Chryst might have been pretty average at Pitt but I can't recall him losing a game he should have won since he got to Madison.

We'll see how good he is this year with a good team but a tough schedule unlike last year.
