Let's Talk About the Open Slot for the 12th Game for the 2013 Schedule

Are people really not on board with playing UMass, an MAC team that went 1-11 last year? Easiest possible game we could schedule, and a game that might draw some away fans.

If it's at the Dome and we never have to offer a return game, then fine, we should schedule it. They are probably worse than many of the 1AA teams in the area.

UMass drew a sizzling 10K to their home games at Gillette this year. They'd bring about 50 people to the Dome, I imagine.

I'd be fine with playing them, but none of my UMass alumni friends even know they're playing FBS football now, so there wouldn't be much trash talk fun.
