I get it. We, the fanbase, coaches, and players have been enjoying the big win for days. There wasn't the red ass coach speak of we need to get to work and focus right away. Dino made it very clear that he, his coaches, and the kids were gonna celebrate and I agree.

We just need to come out with the fire and focus we did this past Saturday night. I know thats harder to do on the road and ESPECIALLY since the U had a close game last week and will also be on high alert after our big win. Not looking for validation in terms of a win (though it would be monumental); but rather coming out and playing well early, limiting mistakes, and competing for 4 quarters.

It will be interesting to see if our relatively young team can refocus and come out and compete. I think we can and love the fact that Ish's parents will get to see him play for the first time. Think the kid is a fabulous young man all around. He was tickled pink about Dabo's locker room visit and Dabo's comparison of him to current pro receivers he coached. Again, Dabo, his program, and their fans are top shelf.

Mike Teal drove Bosco off a cliff. They are 2-5 with a lot of talent. Must have learned that at Rutgergs

The encouraging thing is that we've been competing well all year. It's not like '84 when we got shut out by Rutgers the week before the Nebraska game. We blew out the Centrals, lost by single digits to MTS, LSU and NC State and beat pitt and Clemson. But we've been in every game. This team's confidence, focus and maturity is a big plus.

Now we need to play efficiently in addition to competing well.
