How about playing some man to man?
I worry that no really good transfer will want to come here.
I disagree lot of chances to get shots next year esp if swider and the boeheims all leave.

Its possible now that the boys are moving on.
Only one was here last year and I don't believe for a second that Buddy hurt us getting guys. Jb got the guys he wanted in Symir and Cole.

Disagree. With Buddy, Jimmy and potentially Cole, there is a ton of shots available.
Also, if JB can offer a transfer a “Tyus/Eli” role, we will be able to draw someone good if we want.
If you are on JBs good side you get the green light and play 37mpg. Especially with so many departing starters.
I also think JB would typically prefer transfers over freshman.
Assuming both Buddy and Jimmy leave, I think we will get looms from a lot of high level transfers
Who is going to score for us next year?
I don't know who is going to be on the team next year.
If swider and the boeheims leave. And no big scorers come from the transfer portal as you suggest. Who is scoring for us next year?

Yep. All one needs to do is glance at the talent on our teams from, say, 2009 to 2016. It’s light years different from what we have today.
All the stuff people complain about — zone D, iso O, short bench, etc. — are tertiary concerns when we have top flight talent on the floor.
Our recruiting the past few years has stunk. It must get better.

Joe and I didn't suggest that we wouldn't get anyone. I said we might not get blue chip guys. They might want to play for a winner.
Those blue chip guys might also see Benny Jesse and some of the freshman and say those are some nice pieces. I can be a go to guy and make that team pretty good.
I hope so. But those guys wouldn't really have any reason to believe in Benny, would they? And the freshman class isn't really ranked that high. Most good kids leaving schools that didn't make the NCAA probably aren't looking to go to a school that didn't make the NCAA. I'm sure whoever we do get, will come to believe is just great. Until he plays his first game that is.

Who are guys we recruited but we're the bridesmaid for/local guys we missed on?
Because based on the approach last off-season, that's probably the pool we could expect to pull a transfer from.

Maybe all I know is there will be a lot of shots available for guys in the portal for a big time program in need of a turnaround.
A really good transfer isn't coming here. With the new transfer rules JB and his zone rule that out.
Our previous good transfers sat out and got used to the zone and were effective players.
Won't happen anymore, and Jim is too set in his ways to change now.
Everyone just has to be satisfied with being a middle of the pack team in the ACC until JB decides to leave.
Hopefully a new coach will be able to get the program back into
the top 25.
