List of NIL Collectives

Why do you say we’re behind?
The fact that we didn't think we could afford Edwards... That said, it's currently being spun as a managerial decision, and that we think we can get someone better.

The combination of NIL being a black box, running off a major contributor (AW) for nebulous reasons, and no visible NIL success, on top of losing our best remaining player all at once feels like a catastrophe.

But, if we can get somebody better than Edwards to replace him, and the '24 recruiting class comes together, then I'll be proven wrong.

The post you initially responded to was written when I was standing on the precipice. I'm a step or two back at this point. :)

I'm in more of a wait and see place right now, especially as I've had (in various threads) exactly how the process is working.

Anyone can register for the Accelerate platform and INFLCR app. You will be vetted by SU Compliance and May be encouraged to go through one of the two collectives if your initiative fits and involves work with a charitable initiative. But if it’s purely commercial and defined you will get access to negotiate and transact directly with players. We did this with the SyraCRUZ Tailgate.!

Another platform is YOKE. Do you know anything about it?
I saw it on one of the Alabama writeups. Apparently it allows players to participate too.

Edit: Here's the site yoketeam.com/

Thanks!

There are a few of these collaborative platforms in the marketplace. Hadn’t seen that one yet.

We had someone from a similar platform at one of our tailgates in the fall. Interesting stuff!

I wonder if this beer will be sold at Kinnick Stadium for football games. If so, that would be a major revenue stream for the collective. The athletic department generated more than 3 million in beer sales two seasons ago (first year beer was sold at the stadium).

If you're at the game and have the option of buying a typical large company "craft" beer for, say, $8, it's almost a no brainer to pay $10 and donate to the team you root for at the same time as getting an actual local craft brew.

Given that IRS memo from June, it wouldn't surprise me if more nonprofit collectives end up shutting down...
