I believe he's been playing out of position at the MIKE and yet for all his struggles to get off blocks etc he's just hit 91 tackles for the season. Last 3 games have been 11, 15 and 14 tackles with 5 TFLs and a sack (which was a big sack against Duke on a perfectly called blitz.) 16 solo tackles in the last 2 games.

Yes when your undersized but have speed it helps to actually play FAST

Kind of in the mold of Paris Bennett or Dyshawn Davis - a disruptor...without the benefit of a guy like Zaire Franklin to be the primary run stopper

He played low sat and that helped.

He plays with hair on fire, great energy.

Aside from Coleman, arguably has been our best defensive player.

He's great on the wings out in the flats as he can use his speed to make good things happen. Where he is lacking is when they run right at him where he gets outsized/overwhelmed by the linemen in his face who he can't see over or out strengthen. He is really out of position and with his skill set would be better served at a traditional OLB type position. Nevertheless he's looking good lately
