That's what Shulman said but I don't buy it. Roy went to the officials right when play was stopped and started walking his team off. Leonard Hamilton never moved from his spot on the bench.

Gotta save face for ol' Roy.

As i said in another thread ...

I've never seen a team leave the court before the game was over... Even Roy Williams left the court... AND LEFT HIS 5 WALKONS ON THE COURT! I guess the FSU coach suggested it... But to leave for safety reasons yet leave your players on the court? Am i the only one who has a problem with that? That's like the captain of the Titanic getting on a lifeboat.

I think Roy is a great recruiter, above average teacher and average game coach. But as to his personality and temperament, he should really be coaching womens basketball.

I agree with a couple of you about how it may not have been Hamilton's idea. That fleeing act is exactly the kind of thing I would expect from Roy after getting absolutely throttled on the road to an unranked team like that. He just took what he did at the end of the UNLV game and went one step further. Can't wait to see them lose again.
