Back in 2003 most (not all) wanted to be one of the three going to the ACC. Fast forward to today. Now we are not only going with BC and Miami, but also with VPI and Pitt! And in view of the current musical chairs environment, we have just guaranteed SU's athletic future for a generation by joining a conference that makes eminent sense from virtually every perspective.

I don't think that'll be the case in the ACC. It's a stable league so we won't have to waste our time cheering for teams that should be our rivals to help the profile of the conference. We can just cheer for the Orange and everyone else.

I think I'll just root against the SEC (for football anyways, in basketball I'll just ignore them since they're irrelevant) I can't stand their arrogant fans. Then I can root for Syracuse and be happy. (Disclaimer: My wife is an Auburn grad, so I have to pretend to root for them)
