If I check the final team rosters for all 3 teams, Arinze, James, and Wes are all listed as one of the 15. So it looks like they are all good. Each team has only 15 listed, and I believe that is what they can carry. So unless someone is hiding under the table I think that is it. I could find no other news for all 3.

With the 30" pythons Arinze has on his upper arms, he deserves to be on a roster. I hope it's open season on all former Hoyas. :D

Great news. Especially for Arinze, who it seems has been working it like crazy for a shot.

But don't the rosters get shaved down another 3 players?

Wes contract was fully guaranteed at about 1 mill and he has been settled in as a key contributor on the Lakers 2nd team off the bench. His spot was pretty much safe unless a season ending injury unfortunately had occur. AO, Kris-Jo, JS, and Fab were all camp guys hoping to stick. I think eventually the recent cuts Kris-Jo and Fab will find themselves on a NBA team at some point this season when injuries start to pile up, but they'll have to go through the D-League route first. I really hope it works out for Kris, because he turned down good money in China to try and make the Magic. Too bad he's not related to JR Smith, where his spot with the Knicks would've been a lock no doubt.

15 is the max, 13 is the minimum. And, realistically, it is 12 minimum plus one to three on the inactive list. Players can be kept on contract but placed on inactive and sent to the D-League for later call up. Wes is in for sure, but Arinze and James could still find themselves assigned to the D League affiliates.

what happened to hakim?

Got kicked around in a few trades between bottom dwellers last year and ultimately cut. He is not a good enough defender and age is catching up here his offensive game is not outweighing poor defense enough. Had a nice 7 year career making over 20 million.

That's all that matters. Good for him. Hopefully he was smart with his money, he and his kids kids could be set up. You have to give it to a guy like this. Rarely was he a key member of any team, but still the amount of work you have to put in just so you can keep making these rosters year after year against younger athletic kids says a lot about him.

Cuse is going to need a big man coach eventually, and one with Philly ties wouldn't be too shabby either :D. Maybe he can use these next few years to get some experience before getting called up to the big leagues? That's if he had any interest in coaching

Didn't Hak make the best defensive play in the history of SU basketball?

One great athletic defensive play does not make one a good defensive player at the highest level of basketball

And his physique has nothing to do with his ability to defend, right?

Wait...what?

Hak was trying to play the 4 in the NBA, guarding guys like Dirk, who has him by 2 or 3 inches and 40 pounds. I never understood why Hak didn't get more of a shot at the 3. His outside shot was not that bad by the time he was a senior.

Because he couldn't guard a 3 and didn't put up enough points a la Durant to warrant guarding the 3.

Plus he couldn't dribble. Tough to justify having a swingman who can't dribble. He was a freak athletically when it came to jumping, but his lateral movement was, IMO, not good enough to be able to guard a 3 in the NBA.

Hak, a three? Come on now.
