I think the kid who played in the Olympics, who is a top ten, will be starting anyways.
Like every year! This is going to be another fun year on the board
Funny part is that Brown still isn't a starter. He was third string center and third string power forward. Now Brown is the backup center, maybe even still third string depending on how they use Flagg when Maluach is out.
Duke may go small with two of their excellent small forwards and Flagg getting spot minutes at center instead of putting Brown out there when Maluach needs a rest.
Still, it's good news for Brown that one of the several guys keeping him out of the rotation is injured. His chance of minutes before garbage times increased significantly.
Look at the roster. Tell me who Brown is playing over from center to small forward.Where did you get all that from? 3rd string 4 and 3rd string 5? Out of the rotation?
Yup... Except, following that metaphor, we keep getting dumped so the girl can be the new guy's 3am girl, not his girlfriend.lol. This thread.
Duke is fine at the five.
Maliq will either start or play a good amount on a team vying for a title and make good money.
Y’all sound like dudes who got dumped and still talk bad about the girl that dumped you at the townie bar a year later. Get over it.
You sound absolutely ridiculous. You have no idea what his role will be at Duke.Yup... Except, following that metaphor, we keep getting dumped so the girl can be the new guy's 3am girl, not his girlfriend.
It stinks that good players get suckered into going to Duke to be a bench player, when they would be featured at other schools.
How many good to great players get suckered into playing for Duke and never get the chances they would have at other schools?
Many careers go to die at Duke. Yet everybody talks about the guys that go to Duke and become stars, like Duke did anything for them... The top recruits in any given class would be stars wherever they went. Duke didn't make Flagg into the presumptive number one pick next year, but they'll take credit for his successes like they did something. It's annoying.
I feel bad that Brown fell for it and it's going to cost him his career. He'll be a two year bench player, having already been recruited over twice and he hasn't even played a game for them.
We would have really valued him here.
Whatever, we're probably better off with Lampkin. I wake up in cold sweats watching how helpless Brown was defending Clemson in a do or die game last year. At least Lampkin won't be pushed under the basket every possession.
Wish I could like this 8 times. I mean, seriously. At this point brown taking the chance to play at Duke for some dough while we’re trying to figure out how to get back to the tourney is pretty much a no-brainer.lol. This thread.

Very well done. If Duke plays to their potential, he is the perfect complimentary player for them. Also, he’s an excellent complimentary college basketball player. Maybe not a genuine star, but the type of guy who can be exceptionally valuable on any team, and particularly on a good team.

And it scares me.
Well said.Brown might play he might not either way he isn’t here.
Start? I don’t think so.lol. This thread.
