Kid has played himself into the lead. (He was always my favorite!!)

Apparently he has the best arm and Long needs time to learn the whole playbook. Its not over yet but I like to see the best arm emerging.

Crusty...I think all quaterbacks this year are further ahead of any quarterbacks we had in this point in time from last year

From what I saw at the Fort Drum scrimmage, it wasn't even close. Wilson over Kimble for sure.

Reminds me of my sports crush on Hensley Meulens.

It's not so fun when it doesn't work out.
I've got a pile of Hensley Muelens rookie cards if you're interested.

Nassib had a big arm and grit. It looks as if Wilson has a big arm but is more accurate with his long ball. I sense he has the competitive spirit and the confidence needed for the position. He isn't as mobile as the others but with the receivers and running backs we are bringing in I think I would rather have the arm than legs. Hunt looks like he will be hard to replace but it seems as if we will have some nice choices.

Agree. Wilson could use some height though. Can you coach height?

Alin Eduardo will be the QB in 2 years… lets enjoy Hunt as much as we can now and hope he stays healthy!

Height, like speed, is a good tie breaker but that's about all it is. Wilson is an inch taller than Nassib and only 1" shorter than Kimble.

I'll take a strong accurate arm with good decision making over height every day. Nassib certainly proved that point.

Really. He looked shorter than Nassib in person. But, I agree with your post

Still baffled by Kimble. He was the clear-cut 2nd man since they've been on campus. Kimble just crumbled or Wilson has greatly improved (hoping it's the latter...)

Not so sure. I really like what I have seen out of Wilson during the spring game and clips from this year. He throws a great ball.

I’ve been in Wilson’s corner from the get go and pulled for him to win the job, and why not. Here’s a Pennsylvania kid that Marrone and Hackett identified and offered early (before Zach Allen) and got him to commit in May of 2012. Through the coaching change the kid never wavered.

From what i can see once drills stopped and the real game began Kimble started to falter. From the little that i saw i dont like him as a passer. Wilson is a much better passer than any of the other QB's including Hunt. He can make all of the throws. Sure it is nice to have a running option at QB but lets face it we have plenty of weapons and Wilson can stretch the field unlike AJ or Kimble

Oh good. I'll trade ya my Brien Taylor's!

Back when Topps would insert "gold" cards into their packs (I believe it was 1992), I bought a cellophane pack at my local comic/collectibles store. It had a gold Brien Taylor right on the bottom! You could see it through the cellophane. I didn't open it, of course, and showed it to the owner of the store. This was when Brien Taylor was a can't-miss prospect. He offered me five bucks for the pack, at which I scoffed.

Today, I sure wish I'd taken that five dollars.

Good to know we have somebody separating from the pack at backup QB. Still have high hopes for Edouard down the road.

P.S.-Went to a Syracuse Chiefs-Columbus Clippers game in '91. Go to grab a hot dog between innings and who is on line with me? Stick Michael. We had a nice chat about Bam Bam and Oscar Azocar. :)
