Maybe I missed it but it looks like Morris is 3rd on depth chart now. Thought he had a decent game last week. Here are the stats:

Fredricks 11-73
McFarland 8-28
Morris 1-(-1)

We still need a better run offense in my opinion. Without watching game on TV, thought we were better running North-South than East-West.

Personally I was happy with the performance of the team given we were down Dungey & now 2 top receivers. With the defense out there for practically the entire 2nd half, proud they held them even given last TD.

Fantastic in game experience to the end - anyone leaving early missed a great ending - proud to have high fived some of the players after game - just glad we won! Go Orange!

It's been apparent to everyone that Fredericks is the best of the three.

someone yesterday questioned of the coaches saw that Dungey had "it" and may have been the best quarterback during summer workouts. I think like many coaches, ours gave preference and the benefit of the doubt to the older guys, guys who've been in the system for a bit. But just like Dungey is the best of our QB's, Hunt included, Fredericks is the best RB. I think both have proven that on the field and the coaches have finally accepted it.

To me, the depth chart should be Fredericks, McFarlane, Morris. It appears the line is generating little push. I'd take the back that gains more yards after contact. Fredericks in #1. McFarlane is change of pace. Morris maybe could work as an HB or should be relegated to mop up time. He is clear 3rd string to me.

Both Fredericks and Strickland really are electric players. Every handoff that goes to Morris (and to a far lesser extent, Mcfarlane - who I think is a quality back), is one less touch for the younger guys.

Given our injury issues, it's nice to have 4 guys we can win with, though.

Shafe said he'll go with the hot hand. Fredericks looks like he warms up pretty quickly.
