dont spin it, its unlikely that he will EVER get another NFL HC job.
 
and now 2 years out...he will have to be more than an OL coach in jax to ever get an interview again.
 
$1 says next year when the NFL puts out that list to teams of possible HC candidate...that he is not on it.
 
you again fail to point out that he was getting $4million for 2015 and he was GUARANTEED to get it for 2016 too.
 
instead, he took the less stressful way for sure to get 4 of the 8 he was GUARANTEED.
 
good for him. we should all be able to do so.
 
but we arent NFL HC's...of which he NEVER will be again.
 
personally, i wouldve toughed it out to make sure i got the 8.
 
and yes in the NFL fired > quitting.
 
especially if the reason is 'ownership wanted a new direction and i wasnt a part of it'
 
im sure hes a nice guy, his coaches must love him. i mean who wouldnt be happy to come off a 9-7 season, think things are on the up...and then have your boss quit and find yourself on the unemployment line. thats HC material right there.
