Was possibly the biggest game for SU in recent memory- a season starting with penn state at the meadow lands.

There was a chance to get the kids all fired up to start the year and have a great off season. Additionally, a win would have given us a lot credibility, momentum and national attention. Admittedly, PSU is down, but still had a real solid season.

All can still be accomplished. It's possible that this change will heighten the visibility nationally for Syracuse and the game itself. I'll be in the stands with my family without question anyway but now it adds interest on scheme's we're going to be running etc.. Given the right coaching staff, we can still beat PSU.
