Losing record, 15 games in

We deserved better today. Shots were down and spun out and some outrageous missed calls that determined the game. We couldn’t get a call all game. We don’t have anyone that can create plays for others or get a shot. That’s a major talent deficiency.

Hall of fame coach who has never had a good inbounds play in 40 years. Not even a basic one that high school teams run. It’s a joke.

…and oh that was a great defensive play by the Cornell transfer. Tavern league.

Not sure we “deserved better.” We had a bad scheme, they worked the cross-court skip passes to perfection, we took a lot of bad shots, missed badly on a lot of decent shots, had inane coaching decisions, and couldn’t handle the ball with college-level proficiency. We scrapped enough to be IN the game, but bad ideas after Jesse fouled out were the end of us.

Not to mention, wakes coach is a numbskull for never putting any pressure on us. Insanity

Inbounding poorly against pressure has been a weakness of JB teams for 40 years. The scheme isn't good and it doesn't change. Players come and go but the problem remains because it's the scheme. Nobody cuts. They would be better off throwing into the front court on a break. They used to do that occasionally years ago but now they never do.

He had GREAT inbounds plays. Not that long ago we'd free a guy up on a wheel to go deep and finish it.

Now...

we got it over in the biggest part of the game to get into sweet 16.

Granted, not thanks to coach’s design, but rather a spectacular individual play

11th in the conference. That’s painful. Just coincidence that it happens with a trio of Boeheims as the key factors.

Announcers we’re talking early about how good JB says he feels…. Hoooo boy. I think we are in for another handful of years like this.

Team is just bad. Coaching is bad. Lucky to have 7 wins
We could easily have 3 more losses, Hurley went to the pressure too late and Indiana and Fla St handed us their games. It’s scary where we are, the fact we won without them pressuring us is making me panic even more.
