Lost and Found

How long and how many threads are we going to have to hear about losing Kadary and how bad of a loss and screw up that was?

Who the hell cares about the high school rank of a kid who has been in college for 2-3 years?
People that have nothing else to use to say they want one player over another.

Kadary is unlike almost any other player we’ve had transfer out of the program. Usually the guys we lose aren’t that great or their production and skills are at least replaceable. Kadary is a special talent and one that will be difficult to duplicate. Losing him is gonna sting for a long time. Fans are gonna bring it up all next season, no matter how good we are. That’s just the reality. JB will probably be making references to Kadary in his press conferences next year. Now if they go out and get a transfer like Adam Miller or Marcus Carr or some other high level PG, that could change. But if we’re rolling with JG3, you can bet you’ll hear all about how much better we’d be with Richmond.
Seems like I've seen this exact same post on several threads...

like with the opposite s e x, the one that got away is always the right one. I think we should wait to see how it plays out with both Joe and Kadary before we declare anything about who we would be better with. Next year could long a lot different. I could see Joe looking a lot like the kid that has killed us for the last 40 years.
Dash please dont compare Joe to Kadary its not a good look.

Syracuse media needs to put a JG3 highlight reel out ASAP. His best heat checks.
Get us hyped about PG1.

Really? Why don't we wait till they are done playing before we give final grades. To do otherwise, is not a smart look. I will give you a comp from our time. I think it is your time as well. After their soph seasons, who did you take...Michael Brown or Howard Triche? Be honest. There was no comp. And then Howard was better. That one was also a jb decision.

It’d be like if Luka Garza transferred after his junior year but the team he transferred to fans weren’t excited because he wasn’t a top 100 recruit... let’s look at what they do on the floor in college rather than what they were ranked coming out of high school.

And for anyone who says recruiting rankings don’t matter or predict how good they’ll be in college: I’ll take my chances with the more highly rated recruits any day of the week and twice on Sunday. LGO!
I agree...
Just don't say that on the FB board. You'll be hung at noon.

We bemoan the loss of a recruit or a player until his position is adequately filled.

Girard hit that long 3 point shot against WVU to stop their run and get the Orange back in control of the game. It was a humongous shot that these chronic complainers must not have seen. Maybe they didn't watch the NCAAT,

Joe with better shot selection can get his numbers up. His mechanics are good he has the correct arc and the fishhook finish.

Joe saved our hide against SDSU. He made like the last 6 big plays of the first half. He had a huge tournament. I actually thought he was our second-best player in the tournament, Marek being close. He might have a chance to be the 3rd three-point option every night next year instead of a forced second.
