Well they play different positions, so it's hard to compare them. But Esk had more tackles, more pass breakups, is faster, bigger, and plays better in space. Reddish had a great year, 3 ints and a fumble recovery. Tackled well and didn't get picked on nearly as much as the year before. You could make the case that his growth last year accounted for the jump in our defensive effectiveness. But the year before? Esk was much better. So it is close.
And the NFL (that's where this started, I think) prefers size and speed over most other things. That's why he's a better prospect.
